“Late Late Show” host Craig Ferguson burst onto stage the other night lip-syncing to the ultimate teen pop song “Oops I Did It Again” by Miss Britney Spears. He had some help from a man in a biker costume, an African-American gentleman in a blond wig and white suit, and some puppets in bandanas. It was awesome.

My comment: Who would have thought that the funniest man on TV would be a mature, alcoholic Scot who is fairly new to these shores? Mr. Ferguson just oozes great attitude and is a genuinely funny person… which, to me, is helpful for a comic. Try him out… wait until you’ve had a particularly crummy day, are in a blue funk and ready to take a handful of pills, then turn on his show. If you aren’t laughing out loud within the first 2 minutes… well, at least it’s free TV!
