Why am I posting gossip from the tabloids and trashy web sites? Every dedicated news reader and digestor of public affairs needs some titillating whispers every once in a while, don’t you think? Who better than Miley (who is working hard), or even better, because she’s an adult, Lindsay? And while her affairs aren’t exactly public yet and there are no, uh, titillating photos… here’s the latest on our young adult, Lindsay. Roll with it.

Chris Jepson: Lindsay Lohan’s New Man?

Lindsay Lohan seems to have finally broken up with Samantha Ronson, and according to few new reports Lohan is back to dating men, namely one man: Chris Jepson.
The NY Post reports that Lohan, who cannot get a job because she’s not insurable, has hooked up with Jepson, whom they identify as a “British paparazzo”:
On April 15, Lohan and Jepson were inseparable at a Hollywood Hills house party. According to a spy, they even went into a bathroom together and didn’t come out for quite some time.
Meanwhile “Life & Style” sent out a similar story linking the two, but identifying Jepson as “a manager at Bungalow 8″ in London:
On April 15, Life & Style can exclusively reveal, Lindsay hooked up with a guy at a house party in LA. “His name is Chris Jepson, and he’s British,” an insider close to the 22-year-old star tells Life & Style. “Lindsay’s mom, Dina, has even met him. He seems like a good guy. Lindsay’s family is very happy she’s moved on from Samantha Ronson.”
At the party, Lindsay certainly didn’t seem broken up about her split with Sam. “At one point, she took Chris’ hand and disappeared into the bathroom with him for 45 minutes,” says a partygoer. “People were knocking on the door, but she wouldn’t come out.”

LINDSAY Lohan is drowning her sorrows over her breakup with Samantha Ronson in a sea of men — and some friends are terrified she’ll go down the road Britney Spears traveled two years ago. Except that, unlike Spears, Lohan doesn’t have a stable family member to lean on.

The faux lesbian has been “a complete and utter wreck” since Ronson broke it off with her two weeks ago, and has been spending time with “a different man every night,” said one concerned friend. Some of the guys include “90210″ star Kellan Lutz — who “has been out of town this week, but they are in constant contact,” the friend said — as well as British paparazzo Chris Jepson.

Friends fear that Lohan is in a “meltdown” situation and has no career to fall back on.
Lohan, who can’t get an acting gig because of her antics and the high cost of insuring her, is said to be interested in joining the burlesque “Peepshow” at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The show stars former Spice Girl Melanie Brown (Mel B/Scary Spice) as mistress of ceremonies Peep Diva, while Kelly Monaco is Bo Peep, the Diva’s timid protégé. Lohan joined the duo backstage after catching the show Saturday night and approached the director about a part, which would require her to appear topless.
Meanwhile, since the Ronson split, the former starlet has not only gone back to men — she’s also gone back to partying all night, every night. Last week, she hit six clubs in one evening. Lohan doesn’t have a rep and her former publicist didn’t return calls.

My comment: Sure Lindsay has a rep; her mom. I’ve been wondering why Lindsay is not making movies. Aha, that old Hollywood sticky point, you can’t act on a movie set if you are not insurable! You’re on probation and you might just disappear from the set into the loo with a young (?) Brit paparazzo/hotel manager and not come out! Yep, undependable.
